Somehow a few days ago while trying to send fax for first time(at least that seems to be when it happened), I caused two of 5 users(!) "my documents" to move to the MY computer section on all users. When I try to make private by going to properties/sharing the "make private" box is light grey and won't click. Not sure how I did this in the first place, but I can see how my folder might have got messed up but ONE other user? Strange. Anyway, what should I do just make another private folder and call it something else? (when I try to send the thing called kali's documents in MY COMPUTER to MY DOCUMENTS it says it can't do it because it has the same name....)

XP Home. Also, I am novice and need step by step instructions. Thanks.

You didnt do anyhting. It is the default behaviour. All of the "My
Documents" folders get listed under "My Computer" with their respective user
name such as:

My Computer
|
|-- User1 documents
|-- User2 documents
|-- user3 documents

Do not try to fix it as it is not broken.

Then why are only two (three now) out of five listed? (The third showed up a day later!) That means anyone on the computer can look in everybody else's "MY Documents" I am positive this was not like this twop weeks ago.

didn't work - sharing tab disabled " because folder is in another folder that is private"!

It means it is already private! So whats the issue then?

Can you login as a userA and still look into your my document folder of
userB ?
