I am running Windows 2000 Advanced Server with FPSE 2002
and I have a user who I have set-up as an Advanced Author
but they are not being allowed to save or delete web
content, when they go into frontpage from the desktop.
Everything works as normal with the regular web site but
when she tries to save or delete anything from the subweb
she gets an error message saying that she does not have
permissions to perform the operation but she does because
she is set-up as an advanced author. I also went into the
folders themselves and added her read and write
permissions. Where else do I need to add permissions.

Are you sure she's set up as an Advanced Author in the
subweb? If the subweb uses different permissions than the
parent Web, the parent permissions don't inherit.

If that doesn't do it, try running Server Health with all
the Fix options checked.
