Have a SMC 7004ABR router and the systems plugged into it work fine. On one
of the ports I run a cable to a SMC EZ Switch 10/100 (SMC-EZ6506TX), and
computers plugged into the switch are not recognized on the network. No
Internet access or it is very very slow. I can do a IPCONFIG on the
workstations and it does know the IP address but networking between
computers and access on the Internet via the router is non-functional (very
very slow). I have tried resetting the router, any other ideas? Something
is plugging it up. Same results with any PC I connect to the Switch plugged
into the 7004ABR.
