I just updates iTunes to version 7.2

I had problems with the updater but I finally managed to uninstall and
reinstall the program.

Upon start, some of my music files wich are stored on my 2nd HD (X:/ drive)
seemed to be missing by showing the "!" mark right before the name of the
song.

I tryied to find them manually with windows explorer but now it says my X:/
drive needs to be formated. Only those specific folders are not formated. I
got hours of video on X:/ and they work just fine. There is something like 1
GB total of unformated data on the drive splitted in about 20 sub-folders.

What could be the cause behind this strange behavior. Are some sectors
damaged? Do I need to format my x:/ and lose everything?

Hi,
I'd use system restore and roll it back to before you did the itunes update
and
see if your stuff is there, etc.
