--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I recently upgraded my TIVO system by putting a larger hard drive in. Since I had the HD that I had taken out sitting around, I decided to put it into my PC. It is a 40 GB Maxtor. I put it in setting jumpers correctly, etc. and all is well with the exception of it shows a total capacity of 9MB. Any ideas?

Try installing it on the Secondary IDE channel as Master. What is the
Capacity of the newer hard drive?

The one that was in there already is 30GB. If I change it to the secondary as master, do I then move the cd to primary slave?

See if it works first. If yes, then connect the CD to Secondary slave.
