hi i would like some help i have put in another hard drive in my advent
computer if i switch the computer off and then turn it on again it will not
load it gets stuck on the advent words i put a 400 watt power supply unit in
but it still will not load but if i click it off and then click it on it will
load in to windows it has got a drive letter and i can do things with my
files.

Did you check the jumpers at the rear of the drive... slave/master settings.

If both are set to master, that's exactly the type of behavior I would
expect to see. Once it's correct and you see both drives in the BIOS, then
boot into Windows. Use Disk Manager to partition and format the drive and
assign it a drive letter.

i have got them set up in the bios and they both have a letter but it still
will not work.

What does Disk Manager say about the drive?

(Right click on My Computer, select Manage.... on the following screen,
click on Disk Manager)
