After installing a 2nd hard drive and partitioning it,I
can not locate the CD and CD-RW drives that are on my
computer. The Device Manager isn't showing DVD/CD ROM
option as the Help section displays. I disconnected the
drives, rebooted, then reconnected the drives attempting
to let the system find the hardware but this also did not
work.

You Must make sure that you have set the jumpers on your
hard drives and CD-ROM/RW drives to master and slave,
make sure that you don't have 2 masters/slaves otherwise
one or both of the drive will no longer show up on your
system.
