Where is the 2nd calendar?

I sync an Iphone with Outlook 2003. Appointments I enter on the Outlook
calendar sync to the phone without a problem. Appointments I enter on the
phone do not show up on the Calendar in Outlook when I sync. They DO however
show up the Outlook Today screen when I start up Outlook. So there is a
synchronizing of the calendars between the iPhone and Outlook but there seems
to be two different calendars. The Calendar in the navigation pane is
different than the calendar being used in the Outlook Today screen.

Any ideas?

Press Ctrl+6 to see the folder list- you'll find the other calendar there.
Check the apple forums for the steps necessary to make the iphone use 1
calendar.

There is only one calendar in the folder list which is what makes this all
the more baffling.

Oh. I bet its not going to a second calendar folder - it’s the view bug.
There is a bug that affects the ability of the appointments to show in the
Day/Week/Month view but you can see them in any table view (like By
Category).

See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/iphonesync.asp

This worked. It's not the most efficient method, but will work until a
software update comes out. I added a recurrence to the appointment on the
phone with no recurrences and it then will show up on the calendar in Outlook.

Thanks.

Outlook Today can show you only the default Calendar folder in Outlook and
only that calendar can fire reminders for the events you have in it. Your
iPhone, I believe, can reference more than one calendar, but you should be
using and synching your default Outlook calendar if you want the events to
show on Outlook Today.

Use either the Calendar or Folder List view of the Nav Pane to see all your
calendars.
