Dearfriends,

We are currently planning to expand our company and as such build new
servers. The choice is going to be a Rack Mount System with 1U or 2U
Servers.

I am looking for INFORMATION &/or FEEDBACK

Information regarding what the best options are for the Rack Servers (AMD or
Intel Based?), taking into account the Performance/Price Ratio. Links to
sites & downloads for major info will be appreciated.

Feedbak regarding the usage of such Rack Servers by any of you who can give
first handinfo to me..

If the AMD site is anythingto go by the AMD Opteron Based Serversar better
in comparison to their counterparts. See the link below:

http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/...6_8799,00.html

I am currently researching the market for the best options before making
choices...Any helpf from any of you will be highly appreciated...so why NOT
join the party and let's talk about this, discuss the pros & cons of the AMD
& Intel Based Rack Servers...

Thanks for your input...Hoping to have lots of replies to this POST...

Ted
