Assuming the dates are dates as XL understands them, chances are the
following will work.
Double-click the x-axis. In the resulting dialog box, click the Scale tab.
In there specify the desired dates for the min. and max. values. You can
use mm/dd/yyyy (or I imagine dd/mm/yyy depending on the computer's Regional
Setting) and XL will translate that into an integer value.
