i've just got the above and tried to install the device.

my systerm finds the hdd and say's it's ready to use, and
that it is working currectly!

however when i try to find it in my computer as my second
hdd it's not there! why?

can someone please help me install this device currectly

First - you should have at least SP1 installed.
Second - START -> HELP AND SUPPORT

search for :

Disk Management

(Read up on how to get to and use the tool, then use it to initialize the
drive..)

Right click on My Computer and select Manage. On the following screen
select Disk Management.

It should now appear on the right hand side of the screen from where you can
parition it, format it and assign it a drive letter.

For drives larger than 137Gb you also need to turn on 48-bit LBA.
