250G Maxtor SATA II Installation problem cured

From previous post, I couldn't get my XP installation boot CD to recognise
more than 137GB of a brand new 250G Maxtor SATA drive when attempting to
build a new system on it.

This problem was cured by burning an XP SP2 slipstream boot CD.

My original XP boot CD WOULD recognise and partition correctly a Maxtor 160G
PATA drive.

I did NOT need to install RAID drivers for this to work. (I have no
intention of using RAID on this system)
