How do I load an OS to a 250 gig hard drive, is there anything special I
need to do? I had a 36 gig SATA drive in its place working fine, pulled it
out to use a 250 SATA drive, and now I can't get it to load. I have done
all the driver loads during set up, it just comes up with an error every
time. Any help?

Craig

First thing to check - does your BIOS see the full 250Gb?

Did you partition and format the new 250 GB drive?

Thanks for the input, I finally figured it out. For some reason, I assume
just because of the larger drive than I was using before, I had to enable
the raid function in the bios and set up the single drive as a striping
configuration. Once I did that and nothing else, it worked perfect. before
that, the bios did recognize its entire 250 size, but it just wouldn't
work - I got an error saying "error loading OS". Anyway, problem solved.

Thanks everyone,

Craig
