2200 driver gives inaccurate ink information

The Epson Stylus Photo 2200's printer driver gives inaccurate data
regarding remaining ink levels.

For example, just before printing a print today, the driver reported
that there
was enough ink left to print 25 prints that were similar to the
previously printed print, yet when I printed only one more print, one of
the inks ran out before the print was finished.

How can I solve this problem?
