It appears that Excel 2000 does not like any year after 2009, as it tells me
date is invalid. Is there a way to fix this ?

Any chance you have some data|validation that's stopping you?

What are you typing?
What is the exact message you see when it fails?

In what context is it being used where it tells you this?
