Richard, when you update WinXP with SP2 the rest of the Drive will show
up. It will be something less than 200G because
the Manufactures use 1 megabyte = 1000k where as 1 megabyte is
actually 1024k. So end result is about 186G.

The problem with your statement Rich is that the computer will only install
XP on the first 131 GB, as it is apparent that the install CD is pre-SP 1
version, and the remainder won't be available unless a program like
Partition Magic is used to "stretch" the partition after SP 1 or 2 is
installed.

The better way would be to slipstream SP 2 onto the installation XP CD then
partition and format the drive and install XP. The entire 200 GB drive
would then be seen. Of course you would also need the slipstreamed CD if
you ever had to do a repair install of XP if you installed XP SP2 at anytime
in the future.

Richard, here is some help in doing what I said in the second paragraph.

http://www.helpwithwindows.com/Windo...p2-bootcd.html

http://www.msfn.org/articles.php?act...showarticle=49

There is a free nifty utility that will automatically create an ISO (CD
file) image called Autostreamer using the original XP CD and the XP SP 2
file from either the SP2 CD mailed from Microsoft or downloaded from here
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
(watch word wrap of URL and it is a large (250 MB+ file size). You will
also need CD burning software that can burn an ISO image to a blank CD.

Autostreamer can be downloaded here
http://www.softpedia.com/progDownloa...oad-13918.html or
from here http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=223562

Hope this helps

Richard, what LvTravel said is exactly right and the much better
solution. But, you can still simply add a second partition with the
remainder of the drive after SP2 is installed. Just rt click
MyComputer>select Manage>Disk Management. From
there you can create, format and give the partition a drive letter.
