Where is 2007’s "Outlook Today"?

Recently upgraded to Office 2007 and I am unable to locate Outlook Today in
this new version.

In 2003, on the left side where all of the folders are (navigation pane, I
think), Outlook Today was listed above "Infected", "Deleted", "Drafts",
"Inbox", etc. there was a “Mailbox – Mxxxx, Danielle – Outlook Today”. It
allowed me to choose this as the default when Outlook opens and there was a
place to click on for customization of it.

In 2007, there is a “Mailbox – Mxxxx, Danielle” but it doesn’t say “Outlook
Today” and the reading pane just looks like my Inbox without any mail in it.
There is no place to click on for customization that I can find.

I liked the 2003 view because it should my meetings and upcoming tasks.

Where is this in 2007?

Thanks!

It should be in the Navigation Pane. It might be labeled Personal Folders and
have the familiar Outlook Today icon. A button to it should also be found on
the Advanced Toolbar. Go to View menu, point to Toolbars, and select Advanced.

Thanks Lois.

That means this "Mailbox - Mxxxx, Danielle" is my Outlook Today but how do
can it be customized to show my meetings and upcoming tasks?

When you click the icon in the Navigation Pane or when you click the Outlook
today button on the Advanced Toolbar, the familiar Outlook Today Pane should
appear on the right side. You'll see the Customize button on the top right of
the window and you can make you preferred changes then click the save button,
also on the top right side.

RIght-click "Mailbox - Mxxxx, Danielle" and choose Properties. Select the
"Home Page" tab. Check the box labeled "Show home page by default for this
folder". Click OK. Now left-click "Mailbox - Mxxxx, Danelle". You should
see Outlook Today.

If you're interested, I do have an alternative to Outlook Today that puts
your Calendar, Tasks and Inbox on a single page and gives you access to the
items therein.

Brian-
On the Home Page tab, the "Address" field is empty and the "Show home page
by default" is grayed out. Is something supposed to be in the Address field?
