can i bring back my work (office using v2007) back home (v2003) to do?

i think basic inserting data should not be a problem right?
But having many worksheet will affect the version?

only doing things like macro, etc then must have e same version right?

Download the compatibility pack.

You need to ensure that you save the file from 2007 in 97/2003
compatibility format (i.e. .xls rather than .xlsx). Also, make sure
that you do not use any features which were introduced in XL2007, i.e.
more than 65536 rows, 256 columns, 3 conditional formats and so on.

Hope this helps.

Wrong. Different file formats, different formatting system, different sheet
sizes. Macros are in fact the things that are most similar between the two
versions.
You can ensure compatibility as described in previous answers, preferrably
by using the old file format, but it is not a very good solution. Consider
upgrading at home.

Best wishes Harald
