2007 Word Headers and Document Properties

I am trying to add document properties to a header. I went to Quick Parts,
but Document properties is not available to click on. It is light gray. I
need to add the filepath to the header.Can anyone help?

Use Insert | Quick Parts | Field, and choose to insert the FILENAME field.

Note that the Document Property option is not supported for files that are
not in the new Word 2007 file format.
