Hi! I just saw the new and improved Presenter View in 2007 and I think it's
great.

Two questions, though - it doesn't seem you can edit text in Notes View if
you want to do that while you are rehearsing from Presenter View - is that
the case?

Also, can you ink on your slides when you are in Presenter View? When I
click on the ink button and write on my Tablet Screen, it only advances the
slide. Is there some trick to it?

Thanks!

1. Haven't found a way to edit in the presenter view notes pane.
2. Yes, make sure the slide transition is not set to advance on click.
On the Animations ribbon look to the far right and uncheck the On Mouse
Click Checkbox.
you can still advance the slide with the arrow buttons (presenter view and
keyboard) but you will be able to ink to your hearts delight on the
presenter view slide pane and it will show on the slideshow pane.

Great - that did the trick. It looks like there is some lag time while
Presenter View waits for you to lift your pen before displaying the ink on
the second monitor, but I can live with that. Thanks for your help Trey!
