Need a little info.
How are you trying to open the file? Are you opening the Viewer (by
double-clicking the PPTView.EXE file) and then navigating to your
presentation?
Or are you saying that the autorun CD doesn't work?
If the latter, it's probably because the file is so large, it's taking a
long time to get going.
You might consider converting to MP3s and not embedding WAVs so the actual
file size is smaller. If you use Package for CD, the links to the MP3s will
be resolved, so it shouldn't be a problem. But the 1/2-Gig (which is what
500MB is) file size could definitely be a problem, especially if you're
expecting to run the file from CD. With a smaller PPT file size, the CD
should start up much more quickly.
