I recently changed my Computer to a new Vista Machine, changed from Cable to
DSL, changed email address, and loaded Outlook 2007 to replace Windows Mail.
Lots of new things which might cause me my problem. Most of the time when I
try to receive mail from (E-Mail Removed) it seems to be very slow.
When I was previously using Cable (different email address) , XP, and
Outlook Express, it was very fast. Now it drags and sometimes fails.
Occasionally, it will come in fast, but that is the exception. I am using
the PRO DSL from AT&T.

Do you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook? Disable this
integration and try again.
