Running XP (with all updates) I am unable to get alarms to work. I've tried
the run outlook.exe alarm cleaner to no avail.

Alarm cleaner?

how about trying:
outlook.exe /cleanreminders

what exactly happens? Do you get any error messages or warnings?

do you have more than 1 tasks and calendar folder? Look at the folder list
to see - ctrl+6.

Not than I can see. I had added some VBA script related to 'Getting Things
Done' Dave Allen stuff. I don't use it, and can remove it,...just don't know
how to.

I don't think this is a problem, but should mention it,....I have a CRM
program called Maximizer that works off of Outlook,...and syncs with it.
It's alarms work fine, and I actually have to rely on them, even though I
have both programs running all the time, since I use Outlook for email and
calendar and tasks. I mainly use Maximizer for contact data base and look
ups (with many categories). I may switch over to Business Contact Mgr.
2007,...just haven't had the time to look at it. (also sync from Outlook to
my PDA phone and interestingly enough,....alarms work there ok).

I was going to paste a bmp print screen here,....but it won't paste.
