I have a Dell dual DVD desktop with MS XP. I installed 2007 Office Pro, and
now my lower DVD slot is opening and closing every 10 seconds. Really can't
figure it out - any ideas.

I suspect that it is purely coincidental that the problem started after
installing MS Office. It is probably caused by some malware or by a virus. I
would run msconfig.exe and check for suspect tasks under the Startup Tab. I
would also check if the problem persists while in Safe Mode.
