I have completed my very first trial PPT.2007.(Very new to Powerpoint) Is
there a way for me to name my Custom Animation list (34 animations) which
are all on the one slide, so that I would know the name of the underlying
animations (I have at least eight animations on top of each other on the
slide) I would like to be able to link a different bubble to several
different animations, instead of just seeing the numbers then I could
identify things easier if I could actually name the animations. I have read
on the newsgroup how to join two animations to run together ie: bubble and
character. This is what I am attempting to achieve. I am on a strenuous
learning curve. Bear with me.

Maureen,
Have you tried the selection task pane. You can activate it in the editing group of the Home tab, click on select button and choose selection pane. You can rename every object on the slide and that name will appear in the custom animation pane also. You can easily hide/unhide objects so that they are easily accessable.

Luc,

Couldn't wait until tomorrow to try everything out. Took me half an hour and I am now absolutely amazed how easy it was to follow your instructions. My hmble presentation (in my eyes) is perfect. Everything is how I wanted to be and it is now so easy to edit/add things to my very first Presentation Slide. PowerPoint is POWERFUL :-) and you guys/girls on this group are unbelievably helpful. Thanks again.
