I'm trying to edit my chart but the 07 upgrade at the office says the excel
spreadsheet needs to be closed at the edit mode. At the home computer I have
the entire 07 Office Suite and can't update the edit to show on the chart
when I make changes. The update box on the chart is "grayed" out. Any help
would be appreciated.

You created the chart on a machine that has Excel 2007 and PPT 2007?
And now you are on a machine that has Excel 2007 or not?
Is Excel open or closed?
Do you have Windows XP or Windows Vista?

Thanks for the response Patrick and sorry for my slow return but have been
out of town.

I have XP both at home and at work.

At home I have the entire 2007 Office Suite.

Work = just 07 Powerpoint upgrade to the 2003 system. Excel on this is '03.
Problem at work - I can't edit the powerpoint charts and it mentions the
problem with Excel. This Excel is '03 and I don't open it.

At home when I edit these same charts Excel opens automatically when I edit.
But the "refresh chart" button doesn't allow me to use it.

Hope this is clearer.
