How can you determine if the MS Office 2007 Compatibility Patch has been
applied to a PC running Office 2002 or 2003?

You will have the option to saveas Word 2007 document available in Word.
You will have the 2007 fonts including Cambria and Calibri installed
You will be able to open Word 2007 documents.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping I would see something in About Microsoft
Word or similar, but this works too. I appreciate your time.

You can check the list of installed programs under your control panel.
If the pack is installed, the following entry should be in the list:
"Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office system".
