Guys, please take it easy on me. I just spent 100 bucks on the 2003 upgrade,
i already had the original 2003. I put the disk in, uploaded the software,
according to a pop up window, the installation was complete. But i have yet
to see any freakin difference in my frontpage. I rebooted my laptop, no
difference. Im about to call for help but i figured maybe one of you guys
could be so gracious as to help me first. Thank you in advance

Please explain "I already had the original 2003"?

The FP2003 Upgrade requires that you had/have FP98, FP2000 or FP2002 as their is no new version to
upgrade FP2003 to.

Sounds like you are saying you already had FP 2003, and now you installed
the FP 2003 upgrade.

If that's the case, there is no difference. You don't upgrade a version of
software to the same version.

An upgrade CD allows you to "upgrade" from an "older" version of FrontPage to FrontPage
2003.

An "update" would be used to "update" an existing installation of FrontPage 2003.
Updates are not sold on CD's they are "downloaded" from Microsoft.

I don't think 2003 Upgrade means an upgrade if you already *have* 2003, it
means an upgrade if you have 2000, 2002, etc. Big $100 oops!

on it. I guess theres no chance of returning it huh.lol.

on cd's- thanks Steve. By the way anyone need an upgrade? lol

Return policies differ from retailer to retailer. If your retailer refuses
to take it back because it's open, got to
http://www.microsoft.com/info/nareturns.htm There are directions for how to
return it to Microsoft directly.

That's why I like to buy my software at Micro Center, they don't give you
grief about returning 'open boxes'.

Thanks for giving ish the link.

I've had great and terrible experiences with returning software. I think
it's great that MS is willing to take software back. :-)
