We have been told by a vendor (Idexx Cornerstone) that KB 933593 will improve
a performance issue on the system related to their software when applied to
our terminal server which hosts the Idexx Cornerstone program. According to
the hotfix page, the hotfix applies to Windows 2003 server with active
directory. We do not have active directory on the terminal server. The file
version on the terminal server for the affected file (cimwin32.dll) is
5.2.3790.3959 which is older than that in the hotfix. Can anyone tell me if
they have applied this hotfix to a 2003 terminal server not running active
directory and if there are any adverse effects?
Thank you
