I used to have my Outlook 2003 rules setup a specific way that I can't figure
out how to setup again (I recently reformatted everything so I lost my old
rules).

The way I want it setup is so if a email is sent from a individual on my
contact list it'll go to their specific folder. Fine, got that down very
easy. But the way I want it is if their message (or any body's message for
that matter) has a specific text line in the subject it'll go to another
folder instead.

I've tried to set it up so my contact list has rules setup for that person.
I also have another rule setup for that specific text line in the subject but
what happens is it gets copied twice into both folders. Is there a way to set
it up so if their contact rule has a specific text line in the subject it'll
not copy the message into their specific folder?

Put the rule that checks the subject line higher int he list than the
rules(s) that check the sender address and make sure the subject-checking
rule includes the "stop processing more rules" action.

The "stop processing more rules" action will fix this.

Click the box next to it; it's in the same list as the "move" action.
