It depends upon the method you are using to open the pst file.
If you are trying to open the pst file from the other computer, you should
be either on the interanet connectivity or copy the file to your computer.
>Outlook>File>outlook data file>choose the outlook data by accessing the other computer or by copying the pst file to your computer.
Usually you should be able to access the pst which is created in "personal
folder file- 98-2002 format"
If the pst file is created in OST format (Exchange server) you may not be
able to access as per permissions set to do so.
