2003 Outlook locking up

Whenever I go to leave Outlook (even after having used e-mail with no issues)
the program locks up on me.

The only way for me to get out is to Ctrl-Alt-Del and end the task.

I have repaired the program and gotten all the updates, and yet the problem
persists.

Any ideas on what to do next?
