What can I do?

Perhaps you are not actually connecting to an Exchange server? Exchange is a
mail server normally used in a business environment. Is this the case or are
you using a POP3 account (ISP) or some other type of mail account?

I have the exact same error message on an XP machine when trying to open
Outlook 2007 (SP2) on an Exchange 2007 server. All of my other clients are
having no problems.
