I have a spreadsheet which was created in 2003 which won't open at all in
2007, crashing Excel. The spreadsheet contains some Hyperion stuff, but
otherwise seems to be quite simple fomulae. Help!

Is ther an error message?

Try opening Excel in safe mode
from the run box on the windows start button type

excel /s /automation

to open Excel 2007 with the minimum of add-ins.
Will your file open now?
Does it have a lot of conditional formatting in?
are there a lot of styles
will it still open in 2003?
If you open Excel turn calc to manual then try and open it, will it open?

Cheers
