I'm pleading for help...I have Windows XP and 2002
Outlook. I changed my computer adminstrator yesterday
and when I booted up my computer this am I could not
access outlook. So I ran a system restore and was able
to get everything back except for my personal folders in
outlook. I have never archived my outlook. I need my
folders and info in them back ASAP. I'm begging for any
answers out there.

Enable showing hidden files and folders and search for *.pst. You should
find it in C:\Documents and Settings\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

Double click on My computer
Double Click on Local disk C
Locate Documents and Setting
Find the folder of the user name you had used and double
click
Located a folder names Application Folder---Do not panic
if you do not see this... On the same screen you are
looking at go to Tools then look for a Folder Options
click on this. Now from this page find the tab named View
click on it Now look for a heading named Hidden folders
and select show hidden files and folders. Close this and
go back you should now see the Application folder
Double click on the the Appliction Folder locate the
Microsoft folder and double click.
You should see a folder named Outlook.
Double click on this folder inside you should see
your .pst.
Just import this back into outlook

Hope this helps

NEVER import a native Outlook file unless you don't mind
losing data. Always use File->Open->Personal Folder (or
Outlook Data) File.
