I installed 2000 prof to upgrade from Win98.
Now I have an empty desktop except for trash, modem, my
computer, My documents and IE. Where the time is all I
now have is the speaker icon. All my former files,
programs ect. Are on my hardrive according to Win
Explorer. How do I get all my programs into 2000pro?
My display even has my monitor stuck on 16 color!
Before with 98 I could run High Color 16 bit, 24 bit even
256 colors but for some reason it is stuck on 16 color.
On the Display it is showing just VGA not Super and
listing my Graphics Controller. Once again because 2000
doesn't seem to know my former programs are there. How
can I fix this or even dump 2000pro and go back to 98.

Oh to get hook to the net I had to click my modem icon and
install it again, so far thats all I have been able to get
to work with 2000
