2000Pro-Doesn't recognize 5.25" Floppy on Parallel Port.

's Computer Specifications

I have a lot of old school files on 5.25 floppy's that I
would like to transfer to my PC. I'm trying to use an
external CMS 1.2MB floppy drive that connects to the
parallel port. However, I cannot get my PC to detect it
is connected. Thanks in advance for your assistance!
