2000/XP can't see 98 machines

Why can't my XP machine see 98 machine names when browsing
the network. The 98 PC's can see everything. All PC's are
same workgroup name.

If they have their built in ICF firewall enabled, that can cause the browse list not
to be displayed. Netbios over tcp/ip also needs to be enabled in tcp/ip
properties/advanced - wins. Nbtstat -n should show at least three entries for name
registration on the XP computer. --- Steve
