Have a 2000SP4 system that, on Shudown, the Harddrive
Clicks and Stops running before the system powers off.
This is after Windows has completed its shutdown process.
System is left with blue screen & mouse cursor which
moves. I can reset or power off manually and windows is
fine on next start. Same thing in Safe mode. A clean
install solves so I know it is not a hardware issue.
Is there a registry key which controls when the HD powers
down? What else can I do? Have follwed all the basic and
advanced notes.
