I have never used PP 2000 and am having a problem. I need the presentation to
appear by LINE eah time I click the mouse. I have played around with all the
options I have seen and the only thing I can do is make each slide appear as
an entire slide.

This is for a work training program and it would be embarassing to fail!
Thanks so much to all who respond!!!

In the custom animation box try ticking the box that says Introduce Text >
"Grouped by" and choose first level (or whatever you need)

See if that helps

Thank you for your response. I think you can only introduce each paragraph
(non line) in PP 2000. This wouldn't matter to anyone except me because my
class is so specific. Oh well, I will tell my instructor I tried! Thanks so
much!!!

ValerieJean,

Paragraph level, in this case, does refer to the lines. Remember that in
PPT, a hard return creates a paragraph, no matter how few words. You could
even have a paragraph of one word. Try it again, and just reduce the
paragraph level. I remember being there with that problem, and this did
solve things.

Yeah, you (ValerieJean) might have to remove bullets and adjust indents and
line spacing, but it's very doable.

Change your current slide layout into blank slide layout. If you want
your presentation to appear per line basis, try this:
- use text box to contain each lines that you want it to appear
- for example, if there are five lines, use five text boxes.
- then, add them all into custom animations and select any
presentation based on your preferences.
