| I am in need of a solution to my problem. A Product Key or a way to
| fix my nonbootable XP install.
|
| I had a motherboard and CPU go bad in a machine. After replacing the
| hardware the Windows XP installation would not boot. It would start
| to boot XP and emediately bluescreen and reboot faster than you can
| reed the bluescreen. It does this even in Safe Mode.
|
| I was going to reinstall XP, but a friend of mine broke my XP CD and
| threw it away. I borrowed a copy from a friend, but he doesn't have
| his Product Key either. So I have a broken XP install, a XP CD that
| wasn't used on the previous install, and no Product Keys. I can still
| get to information on the drive if I boot with a Windows 98 boot disk
| or booting with my Linux OS.
