when i first got my computer it was windows 98 so i decided to upgrade
it to windows XP

when i updated it i accedentally chose the wrong option and ended up
creating 2 windows sections 1 XP section and 1 98 section later on i
updated the windows 98 section to windows XP and now i want to know how
to remove the extra windows XP section

I'm not exactly sure what you did, but see this:
