Home users are notorious for NOT deleting old printers that aren't connected to their computers any more. Even if the printer isn't connected and turned on, TS will try to auto-create it in the user's session
1. Have the user delete the old printer(s) (on their home computer) that they no longer use so they won't get auto-created any longer
2. Remove any driver support for the PSC1210 from the ntprint.inf or ntprintsub.inf, if you don't want them to see this printer
3. Add support for the HP1012 via the substitute inf file listed on the following URL, if there is not native support for it

i am having the most fun ! Client is connecting to win 2000 termina
server. The server is mapping a multifunction hp device (psc 1210) as on
printer and a hp722c that the client no longer has connected. I do not wan
them to use or see the psc1210 on the terminal server session. I also wan
to delete the 722c printer altogether. what I want to accomplish is to ge
the redirected printing to default to a usb hp1012 printer that the clien
has installed locally now. what needs to be done to remove the driver o
printer for the client so that the rdp session only maps to one printer
also there have been a few attempts at installing the hp 1012 printer an
each time the client connects now there are 3 instances of this printe
showing up. under the properties these show to be deleting but never do
