First thanks to all you responders you have either bailed
me out before or saved me an eternity finding the
answers.. This is a "how to" question...

I recently configured the machine to contain an exact
copy of my windows partition.... I can't stand Windows
XP, and had far fewer headaches that I've ever had withd
DOS/98/SE/ME. I'm going to this so I can sleep, after
having a WIndows partion damaged and all the recovery
tools completely inaccessable. The machine as far as I
know asks if I want to boot the duplicate partition but
that's OK (to my surprise it's supposed to be hidden)
according to Partition Magic 8.1

The question is how does one update the backup partition,
so that it stays current? The backup can get to old.
What is the best way to do this without constantly
engaging Partition Magic to delete and then copy the
partition every time an update is deemed necessary.

I believe that I have to unhide the partition but what
then?

Many thanks
