Hello,

I have a general question about XP. I want to use my computer to play my
music throughout the house on one sound card attached to my home stereo, and
have another sound card on the system for local sounds and games on speakers
attached to the PC. Is this possible? More of a general question, so I don't
have many specifics.

I have tried this with my onboard sound enabled and then using my
SoundBlaster Audigy 2 card at the same time. The only way this is
possible is if the application you are using allows you to choose which
sound card to use for its output. Otherwise, it will use whatever
Windows has as the preferred sound card.
