2 Sets of speakers?

After I installed a USB speaker The speakers attatched to
my sound card stopped working. When I went to the
properties dialog box, I was able to toggle between the
two speakers but only one would play sound at a time.

Is it possible to use USB speakers and regular computer
speakers AT THE SAME TIME?
