i created a new admin account protected by password .. But when i came to
delete it from the administrator i couldn't, so i logged into it and i
mistakenly deleted the adminstrator, when i noticed that i quickly tried to
cancle the operation and i got the endnow thing..
i freaked out and restarted the pc,, and there where i found tht my
adminstrator was gone.. i tried alt+ctrl+del twice in the welcome window,
then wrote "adminstrator" and blank in the password place,, but it told me
that this domin does not exist..
what do i do?? i've uncountable number of files and stuff, which i really
need..
help please..

great thx..

There is no way to delete the local administrator account, so don't
worry about that. Maybe you renamed it. Do you have any accounts you
can login to this computer with? If so, go to start, run, type cmd
and hit enter. In the window type "net user" (without the quotes) and
hit enter. This should bring up a list of your local account names.
Try to use the account that you might have changed your administrator
account to. If you see and "Administrator" account, but the old
password doesn't work, you may have to reset the password. Here's a
good utility:

http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/

Good luck!

thx man..
but the thing is, as i mentioned tht i created a new admin account,, with
the name (only) and a password protection and there's the adminstration ( the
orignal one without password protection which i deleted),, so i tried and did
like u said, but said tht the adminstraion tht exists is ( only).. does tht
mean that my old admin is gone??? is there any way i can restore it in order
to access to it??

thx again..

and sorry 4 troubling..

Was the old admin account the built in Administrator account? If so,
you DID NOT DELETE IT. You CAN'T delete it. If you want to access
old files from old Administrator account (which you have yet to tell
us the name of), and they were in the My Documents folder, you should
be able to go to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents
(Replace Administrator with name of old Admin account) and find these
docs. Pics are in My Pictures, Music is in My Music, etc. Was the
account you were using an Admin account you created, such as Ko-roo
or something like that? If that was the name, you would replace
Administrator with Ko-roo in above location.
