2 questions about Save My Settings Wizard

First, I have heard that there is an .ini file you can use to customize what
is backed up by the Save My Settings Wizard. If this is true, can I modify
this .ini file to ONLY backup my Outlook email account settings?

Second, if I can do # 1, is it possible to save this .ini file as a custom
file and then run the settings wizard using my custom .ini file? If so, how?

Thanks,
Richard

Stop.You would never use SMS to transfer Outlook data.

Ok, do you have a better idea for how to accomplish the backup of the email
account settings? Just saying "Stop" isn't a very good answer.

SMS can cause problems with OL data/settings
It depends on your version of OL as to whether there is a method to save
account settings

None of the tools Microsoft has provided so far offer a good solution to
backup and restore your Outlook configuration. For details see;
http://www.msoutlook.info/question/119

In general my advise is to do it manually as per;
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/newprofile.htm

If you want to automate it I would recommend using Outlook Backup;
http://www.howto-outlook.com/addins#abf

If you decide to order use ABF-1HTJ8 to get a discount.

I answered the only question you asked. You only asked about SMS! Nowhere
did you indicate that you were unable to read about or use the correct
methods for data transfer that we post here every day. We cannot assume
facts not in evidence. It was important, however, that you cease and desist
all efforts at using SMS before you botch your data.
Anyway, it looks like the night shift has you covered.
