2 Program Files (How to delete?)

Hi I have to program files folders and only 1 of which I use and need but I
cannot delete the other (Program Files x86). I am using vista 32-Bit, does
anyone know how I can resolve this issue? Thank you.

First of all, you shouldn't be deleting anything with the name Program Files
under C:\ Are you sure you are running Vista x86? Since Vista x64 is known
to have two Program files folders for 32 and 64 bit applications.

I did have windows x64 and that was when I used that folder but I downgraded
to x32-Bit and all of my programs that my computer uses is in that folder

Hmm, I would delete Program Files folder and rename the Program Files x86
folder to Program Files and see if that works. Honestly, I would simply
reinstall your apps, I personally didn't know you could downgrade from x64
to x86.

So seeing as I'm running 32-Bit Vista should my application be in the x86
Folder because thats the folder that its not using there all being stored in
the normal Program Files folder. Sorry to bother you thank you though.

Windows Vista x86 does not recognize any Program Files folder named 'Program
Files x86' that is specific to the x64 editions of Vista. I honestly believe
you will even need to reinstall your applications since the registry should
probably be going hey wire at the moment.

I just got this computer and Am wondering how I can delete some files
permanently.
