Well it starts like this, when I go to a search engine i.e.: www.yahoo.com
and I type a search it gives me a list of results, when I click on any of
those results it redirects me to another site usually garbage, now I have
norton and spy sweeper and it doesn't seem to find any ad-ware or spy-ware,
I've deleted all cookies and temporary internet files and it still does it.
which leads me to my second problem I was in the add/remove programs looking
for this ad crap and accidentally I uninstalled a driver for my sound and I
don't have the faintest idea how to bring the sound back on please help

it depends on what sound card you have and or if you have onboard sound.
we would need system details.
Generally you would go to the manufactors web site (of the sound card) and
download their latest drivers (do not use microsoft drivers).

Problem #1
Use Remove-it version 18, it's fast and free. It now has over 9500
signatures to remove All variants of Rogue scanners, Desktop/Homepage
Hijackers, Trojans, Codec's, and related Malware/Spyware. Download it here
http://pcbutts1.com/downloads/tools/tools.htm

Problem #2
Do what sgopus said.

Do a thorough check for malware, following all of the steps at one of these
Web pages.
Help with malware:
All MS-MVP Sites.

Unexplained computer behavior may be caused by deceptive software.

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
For quite a few people it's by installing programs like Messenger Plus,
whose ads for malware don't identify the malware as such and try to convince
you that you owe it to the author. See also:

Don't ever do a "default" install of anything. Always choose Custom and see
what else is being carried along. Don't install any extras you're not sure
of.

tell you the truth I'm very cautious when it comes to installing stuff on my
computer, I don't put crap I don't need or use on my computer I ve had this
computer for almost 2 years and I've never had that problem. I think it
started like this... I would click on a link and the address bar would read
something like http://results.yahoo.com and in the body will only have a
button that says continue and nothing else so i clicked it a couple of times
until it started to reroute me to all that crap

Hosted on the same site as filthy pornographic material created by
butts, blocks access (according to butts) to reputable malware sites, no
backup of deleted files/data..... Do you really want to trust something
like that?
